find it kind of funny, find it kind of sad.

ever since i put donnie darko on my ipod i've been watching it about once a night.
i know blogs are for self-glorifying babble, but i try to keep mine eloquent so stop me if i ramble.
but this movie is amazing. i hate to love it, since it's another one of those movies that people seem to think makes you eclectic for liking (rule of thumb: if it has jake gyllenhaal in it, it's probably not eclectic or overly indie.) but it is honestly a good movie, and a fun way at looking at time travel.
personally i don't have an opinion on time travel (which is funny since i'm so good at spouting opinions) but i do like to hear different theories, and grandma death brings up some good ones.
    also, the soundtrack is amazing.
and i really like frank. a lot.
i wish i had imaginary friends that got me into all kinds of trouble like that.

    The Q

So, today. Most of it was boring. I continued my Pork & Beans marathon, and basically tried to ignore as many of my teachers as possible. It was especially hard to ignore the new french substitute, whom I hate more with every sentence that she pieces together in her horrible english.
The only fun part was that we got new seats since she didn't have a seating chart, and I played body tic-tac-toe with Kara.
And I also got a signed picture of a piano.
I guess it wasn't a bad day. Off to the pool!

    No One Else

So I must have listened to "Pork and Beans" like 20,000 times on break during work today. I think I'm the laziest lifeguard ever.

That kind of made me laugh. Sometimes I feel like Rivers Cuomo writes songs just for me. Like El Schorcho, and Why Bother. Pinkerton was the best album ever.
